I have not had an immediate shutdown but I have had messages saying my
cpu was going into modulated mode becuase the temp got too high.  This
was solved simply by installing a betten heatsink/fan.  I suspect If my
cpu kept heating up, it would shutdown.. but yeah.. check your bios.
