[nylug-talk] Is it mounted or not ??

Matt,

If your goal is retrieving the data, you could try to attach to the
device with debug2fs and poke around. It's possible that it's not
(just) the mount point but something borderline about the metadata
that you could find out about.

Though, I can't think of any flags that could/should interfere with
the kernels or mounts opinion of the state of a filesystem, I do want
to make sure that the tool was mentioned.
