TJ;

Having done this for several people already, all successfully BTW, I
would recommend you purchase an inexpensive wireless A/P and set it up
ahead of time (i.e. configure it for your own local use). When TW
installs they will provide a cable modem which your cable line will plug
into. You will then run a cat5 cable from the cable model to your WAN
socket on the AP. At that point power on the AP and in a few minutes
you should have a working connection. RR seems to be looking for a new
MAC address supplied by either the modem OR AP and uses that to "lock
on" for your account. In some cases you may have to provide some login
information in the AP but in most cases it has NOT been necessary.

I very recently configured a $49 802.11b/g AP for my daughter who moved
to Brooklyn and when the cable guy showed up with the cable modem and
connected it to the supplied AP, it came alive. She was able to access
the Internet with her iBook without incident.

Hope this helps.

Bob
