[nylug-talk] Linux handhelds

I hope the usability is a little better than the demo page indicates.
Running through the "feature demo" had my mouse bouncing around
the right/middle screen ("next", vs "play" for the spam^H^H^H^Hflash
vs. looking at the left-screen demo and back right again for the scrollbar
on the text box) - ugh.
How is the handwriting recognition with this? Is it trainable? (i.e.
something Graffiti-1-ish would be nice....). It also looks like "casual"
use of wireless hotspots would be a little painful (strangely, I kind of
like windows XP "browse" type of functionality there).
If you (OP) go for the 770 - fill us in on your impressions? (Hating
Palm lately, and thinking about going Linux palm-top)
    - Tom
