Hi Dan
I personally is a huge believer in not reinventing the wheel, I am trying to
learn python myself . I find it easier to learn python when I play around
with blender 3D ( or
easier to learn python for blender). Blender comes with an embedded Python
interpreter,
which allows it to run scripts written in python. I have collected links
over the month
that I feel might be helpful. Hope this helps you out.
