Subject: [nylug-talk] Manhattan Wireless Question

Ladies and Gents,
	Moving to Manhattan for work and pleasure. Will be living on the
upper east side, work is also in Manhattan.

	Question: How good is wireless coverage for PDAs. What I would
love to be able to do, is purchase a wifi enabled PDA with an OK browser,
something like the DELL Axim X51 520,
(http://www.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/axim_x51_520?c=us&
cs=19&l=en&s=dhs)
and be able to associate with free wifi hotspots all over the city.
Also, I dont know enough about PDA equipment... Do you think i can throw
something like "putty" on one? :)

	I am new to NY, is this an option? Is this feasible? Can you guys

suggest a good PDA device for this? What do you do yourselves? It would be
nice to hop onto hopstop.com and get quick directions, or update a calendar,
the works.

THANKS! :)
