[nylug-talk] DSL reccomendations revisited.

Hello all. 
I'm new to the area and I'm shopping for DSL service. I found the thread in March, and I'm getting a slight indication that Verizon isn't popular <grin>. I'm looking for OS agnostic provider that won't filter any ports (obviously). I also like to support local biz and my search has turned up AceDSL, Bway, and most recently Pilosoft.

Here are my other requirements:
- Static IP optional but preferred
- Naked DSL, if I have to pay $10/mo to keep from paying $30, so be it.
- "bridged" style connection preferred. I've never used anything else so it is what I'm used to. I would welcome a discussion on the pros/cons of PPoE and any other connection options.

Any comments on i-2000.com or iNYC.com?
