[nylug-talk] Knoppix HD install boot block

I used the knoppix-installer...
and it doesn't seem to have installed a working boot block.


I tried a few tricks, eg chroot to the mounted /dev/sda1
etc, tried to lilo, did not succeed.

Is there a way to tell knoppix to fix the boot record?

(Or re-install the whole system correctly for a change? :-)
(I tried twice, to make sure I didn't accidentally decline)
