Mobile devices and nylug-talk (was: Re: [nylug-talk] Advice needed)

For email on a mobile device, I found gmail for mobile google.com/gmm (??)
pretty good.  Now, that does of course mean you have to resubscribe to a new
email address and, unless you already have one (why not?) get a gmail address.

While certainly not bug-free when it comes to threading on the mobile,
they do try to
solve exactly the problem we talk about by hiding  quoted text where
it should be hidden.
Yes, you can misunderstand a thing or two because of the bugs, but you
certainly have an easier way of reading your email on a mobile device.

Gmail for mobile together with google maps for mobile, are by far the
best mobile apps I have seen, not that I have seen that many.....
