Just a quick note on this.  Ubuntu's latest and greatest is one of the
very few that hasn't yet fixed the xorg-7.1 mga problem.  So, if his
computer has an mga card, he'd be better off either choosing another
distribution (not based on Ubuntu) or installing Dapper rather than
Edgy.  (If he really has to have Ubunutu, and has to have Edgy, and has
an mga video card, one can use the alternate CD, do a text installation,
then download a working driver from a link on their bug reports.)
