[nylug-talk] surveillance cameras with modem

Howdy folks,

I'm building a house upstate.  I wanna keep an eye on the contractors and
their minions, and need only one camera, in a tree.  My only network option
is dialup, even cellphone coverage is pretty bad.  Power comes from the
panel in the old barn.

I'm thinking I have two options: 

1) X10 camera on a long extension cord to an X10 server block that has a
built in modem.

2) Some vendor makes a wonderful camera with modem to dial in and runs on
solar power  I checked Axis and some others, but their products to no
include the modem, but have RS232 interfaces.

Any other ideas?
