# Description: Major online media client in Manhattan seeks a Linux
  System Administrator.

Responsibilities:
* Manage, tune and configure high availability systems.
* Perform application upgrades to online servers.
* Collaborate with the development team early in the development life
  cycle to design supportability into revised/new applications.
* Write administration policies.


# Required Skills: Qualifications:
* 3-5+ years experience as an administrator within a Linux environment.
* Knowledge of local and wide area networking protocols including
  TCP/IP, etc.
* Experience with Perl, Shell scripting languages.
* Experience with hardware RAID arrays, BIOS settings, etc.
* Experience with large installations.
* Experience installing and configuring MySQL database servers is a
  plus.
* Experience with ipTables and Linux firewall servers.
