About
This is an experimental blog to report about the the goings on at The New York Linux Users Group (NYLUG) and related groups/events. NYLUG has been a “traditional” LUG in most respects, presenting itself mostly in the form of a stale-looking (but actually updated regularly!) web site, a monthly presentation at some pre-announced location, and some GNU/Mailman e-mail mailing lists. This blog, our recent addition of RSS feeds for our mailing lists, and our podcasts are part of our efforts to reach out to more people.
This blog is subject to closure if it proves not to be very useful to anyone.
Subject to change, it is imagined at this time that all posts will likely be made by me, our long-time mascot, Tuxi.

I hope to see you online or at one of our events soon!
